As part of the 3rd Pancyprian Olive and Tradition Festival in Analiontas, a seminar was held on Saturday, October 11, 2025, titled:

“New technologies and best practices in olive cultivation and the production of quality olive oil.”

Speakers from Cyprus and Greece shared insights on:

– Digital solutions and innovations in olive cultivation

– Best practices for producing high-quality olive oil

– Future prospects for olive growing in Cyprus

Niovi Christodoulou, representing the Water Department of the Energy, Environment and Water Research Centre of The Cyprus Institute, presented research conducted under the PRIMA Safe-H2O-Farm project, titled “Options for reducing the use of irrigation water and improving nutrient management in olive groves in Cyprus”.

The Minister of Agriculture, Rural Development and Environment, Dr. Maria Panayiotou, who joined the event, thanked the speakers and participants for their contributions to the scientific and technological advancement of agriculture in Cyprus.
