The 3rd Safe-H2O-Farm Project Meeting took place on 4–5 November 2025 in Antalya, hosted by Asst. Prof. Gülçin Ece Aslan at the Faculty of Agriculture, Akdeniz University.The event brought together project partners, researchers, and stakeholders to discuss innovations in sustainable nitrogen fertilization, water management, and pest control across the Mediterranean region, while also reviewing project progress.
The meeting included:
• Opening remarks by dr. Mustafa Erkan and dr. Gülçin Ece Aslan (Akdeniz University)
• A project overview by dr. Michela Farneselli (University of Perugia)
• Scientific presentations by Utku Atalay (Rito Seed Company), dr. Özer Çalışkan (Akdeniz University), dr. Şekip Erdal and dr.Esra Cebeci (Batem)
• WP6 project updates and a Living Lab session led by dr. Adriana Bruggeman (The Cyprus Institute), followed by discussions on project progress.
On the second day, participants joined a research field trip, visiting university greenhouses and local farms to gain firsthand insights into sustainable agricultural practices in the region.
