An information event was organized on 12 June 2024 in Vicar (AlmerÃa, Spain), at the Eurosol S.L. office.
Eurosol S.L. is a company dedicated to the production and commercialization of cucumber, tomato, pepper, eggplant and melon. They cultivate 220 hectares and harvest 25 tonnes each year. Their mission is to produce healthy, safe and sustainable food, both environmentally and socially. The target was a group of farmers of this company. The objectives, activities and preliminary results of the Safe-H2O-Farm project were presented. Optical sensors (chlorophyll meters and canopy reflectance) and xylem sap of leaf petioles approaches to guide N fertilization in horticultural crops were explained.
