Team from the Institute for Adriatic Crops and Karst Reclamation had the honor of participating in the European Researchers’ Night 2024! This amazing event, titled Reconnecting Science with the Blue Society – Blue-connect 2.0, took place on October 14, 2024, in Omiš.
Among the participants was Filipa Burul, a dedicated associate of the Safe-H2O-Farm project. Filipa enthusiastically showcased the project’s activities, inspiring children, students, and young science enthusiasts to explore the wonders of research.
As part of the Blue-connect 2.0 project, a workshop titled “Communication Skills and Public Speaking in Science” was held on December 11, 2024, at the University Library in Split. Participants learned how to confidently and effectively present their scientific research while enhancing their verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Representing us at this event was Ana Bego, another valued associate of the Safe-H2O-Farm project.
The festive spirit continued with the presentation of our project at “City SCIence – I Explore”! Our brilliant researchers once again demonstrated how scientific discoveries can be applied in everyday life in a fun and engaging way—this time with experiments perfectly tailored to the holiday atmosphere.
