A training event was organized on 26 April 2024 in El Ejido (AlmerÃa, Spain), at the experimental research center of Las Palmerillas (Fundación Grupo Cajamar). The target was a group of students of the Agrarian Technical School of Vicar (Almeria). The activities of the Safe-H2O-Farm project were presented, and a hands-on training session was organized to train on the use of optical sensors (chlorophyll meters and canopy reflectance) and xylem sap of leaf petioles to guide N fertilization in horticultural crops.
